“The mission of the J.W. Wright Building Restoration Committee is to preserve, restore, and celebrate the historic J.W. Wright Building as a lasting symbol of African-American entrepreneurship, culture, and community in DeLand. Through collaborative leadership, historical preservation, education, fundraising, and community engagement, the committee will restore the building's architectural integrity while transforming it into a vibrant center for opportunity, arts, and neighborhood revitalization for future generations.
